
In Mexico, gasoline prices remain high despite the reduction in international oil prices. The Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) reminds consumers that they have the right to report gas stations that sell fuel at prices higher than those established by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE).
National Gasoline reported that the average price of Magna gasoline is 23.84 pesos per liter, Premium is quoted at 25.67 pesos per liter, and Diesel at 26.12 pesos per liter. The lowest prices recorded this Saturday, March 8, were in Hermosillo, Chilpancingo, Morelia, Monterrey, Culiacán, Ciudad Victoria, and Reynosa.
In the case of Mexico City, for the same day, the average price of Magna gasoline is 23.86 pesos per liter, Premium is at 25.88 pesos per liter, and Diesel at 25.84 pesos per liter. In the city, it was identified that the cheapest Magna gasoline is sold in Xochimilco at 23.99 pesos per liter, while the most expensive was found in Gustavo A. Madero at 26.99 pesos per liter.
#Querétaro reported that the municipality with the lowest prices on March 7 was Pedro Escobedo, with 22.19 pesos per liter for regular gasoline, 23.69 pesos per liter for premium, and 24.69 pesos per liter for diesel. Regarding Premium gasoline, the cheapest was sold in Iztacalco at 24.79 pesos per liter; and the cheapest Diesel was found in the same area at 23.49 pesos per liter, being the most expensive in Coyoacán at 22.39 pesos per liter.
